Q:     What is a CogicCard?
 

A:     A CogicCard is an ATM/Debit card directly tied to an account at Prime Financial Credit Union (PFCU), formerly Milwaukee Metropolitan Credit Union (MMCU).  It is a financial tool being used by the church to educate and unify.

 
Q:     How do I receive a CogicCard?
 
A:     You can receive a Card by filling out an application and sending it to Prime Financial.  Click on how to...get it and go to "Getting Started - New CogicCard Members."
 
Q:     Do I need a new CogicCard if I already have one?
 
A:     Only if your card was issued before September 2005
 
Q:     How do I receive a new CogicCard if I already have one?
 
A:     You will need to fill out an application/verification form with your most updated information.  You can fill out the application by clicking on how to...get it.  Go to "Getting Started - Existing CogicCard Members."  There is no processing fee required.  You do not have to send a valid ID along with your application.
 
Q:     Can I use the CogicCard I currently have?
 
A:     If the card was issued after September 2005.
 
Q:     Why is the program changing?
 
A:     We want to simplfy the program by eliminating a lot of the fees that were charged in the past.  In addition, by tying the Card to an account at Prime Financial, CogicCard members will have the ability to check their balances, view transactions, receive statements and pay their bills all online!
 
Q:     Are there fees involved with the CogicCard?
 
A:     Yes.
 
Q:     What are the fees involved with the CogicCard?
 
A:     There is a $5.00 maintenance fee that will be withdrawn from your CogicCard account every month.  You are allowed three (3) free ATM withdrawals using your CogicCard.  Anything after three (3) will be charged a $1.50 fee withdrawn directly from your account.  $5.00 of your initial deposit will be retained in your Prime Financial account for membership to the credit union.  If you should close your account, the $5.00 will be given back to you.
 
Q:     Once I receive my Card, how do I load it?
 
A:     The term "loading" the card is no longer accurate.  You will be depositing funds into your CogicCard account.  You can deposit funds one of four ways:  click on how to...load it.

Q:     How do I get a Cogic TEENCard?
 
A:     You can get a Cogic TEENCard by being at least 10 years old, having a parent or guardian with a CogicCard and filling out an application. Click on how to ...get it.  Go to "Getting Started - Cogic TEENCard members."
